1894
Moskovskaya is one of the oldest vodka brands, born in 1894 when the Russian Empire defined the Russian Vodka Imperial quality standard and ordered to build vodka production facilities across the empire.

1900
Moskovskaya boasts over 100 years of vodka making tradition – ever since 1900 to this day, it is made in a production plant in Riga.

1914
Due to its exceptional quality Moskovskaya enjoys popularity as a mainstream vodka around the world.
1924
Production of Moskovskaya vodka is restored in USSR and its recipe keeps improving over time.

1938
In 1938 M. Kucherov's recipe earns the designation ""Osobaya"" (Russian for ""special""). To this day, Moskovskaya is produced using this improved recipe, and the word ""Osobaya"" is still stamped on each bottle.

1970
Moskovskaya stays true to its traditional minimalist approach to vodka production, rejecting trends and ensuring that every bottle of Moskovskaya vodka is of the same outstanding quality.

1990
After the fall of the Soviet Union many countries regain their independence, lives change, families and friends are reunited... and new business opportunities open to Moskovskaya.

2000
Business development accelerates in the new millennium, unlocking fresh opportunities to build strong market positions outside the former Soviet Union. The world needs to experience quality Russian vodka!"

2012
Moskovskaya goes through a major visual makeover – the brand reaches out to a modern consumer while staying true to its authentic roots, increasing brand recognition even further.

2016
The first ever product line extension is introduced. Moskovskaya Silver – superior vodka enhanced with silver purification technology and filtered 4 times ensuring the most pristine taste and smoothness.

2019
Branding is improved even further, and not only the appearance of it: Moskovskaya launches a new communication campaign – bold and fun, yet true to its 100 years of vodka making traditions.

2019
MOSKOVSKAYA TAPS INTO PINK TREND WITH NEW PINK VODKA and launches the first pink vodka globally. Its unique taste profile is mild and refreshing thanks to raspberries, fresh lime and a touch of the juniper.
